Impressions about plant

July 5, 2022
Starting this week, I'll be popping some overgrowth off if need be. I will be rotating 1 quarter turn everyday. She's still growing and is that much closer to the light. MAYBE the fan leaf snippins helped slow her down a little bit? I will continue to increase the nutrient dose by the gallon. So I started with 2.5ml/gal in a 5 gallon reservoir. I top off with a gallon of the next scheduled nutrient dose. It makes it a gradual increase verses an instant bump. This week the mix is at 3ml/gal.

Only an inch of growth. Maybe she's slowing down her top growth and will be focusing on branches. Those are kind of naturally level with each other. I'm hoping those branches take off and catch up to the main cola. Many massive buds for that. Woohoo!

July 6, 2022
She didn't grow last night. At least not the main stem. However as hoped for, the side branches are still growing. Buds are stacking, drinking, I think... About 750 ml? I watered her with 250ml bottom feed with 3 ml tiger bloom ratio. I might feed her another 250 later on today and just keep an eye on her. Honestly, I still don't understand how these blumats actually work, or if they are working as they should. Each blumat can provide about 150 ml in 24 hours. I have 3, so that's 450 ml a day. I don't feel like it's enough with such a big plant. So 250 ml to 750 ml bottom feed is what I am doing. I have a soil moisture probe. Most of the soil is about 20% moisture. The top is around 15% moisture. The very bottom is around 40% moisture with 250 ml added.

I guess the flowering stretch is over. She hasn't reached any higher than 38.5" which of course I'm relieved. I feel like my theory about the light distance and stopping the stretch is accurate. I've seen some people report their plant grew over the grow light and I'm wondering if it wasn't powerful enough to provide that light intensity. My light is only 100w but I guess it's super efficient? Unless this is the calm before the storm.

She's getting nice and bushy now. Not to the point of overy bushy. She's just right. I am getting purpling stems and some rust spots on 2 of the large fan leaves left on the stalk. I'm guessing this is a cal/mag type deficiency. Unfortunately I'm completely broke, so no fixing that. I might run a couple days of top/bottom feed distilled water. I honestly have no clue what to look for besides what I've read on the interwebs. I guess I'm gonna find out.

She's definitely done with her final stretch and getting bushier, but still a very open canopy. Perfect as I hoped. The deficiency I have is subtle but enough to make me question what to do. So I am watering straight distilled water for the rest of this week to see if that corrects the issue. I'm not really sure if this is supposed to happen with living soil, but I get to learn new things everyday. I really wish I had the meters to read this stuff. My ph probe kinda works. 6.3 pH is what I get when it reads. I'm not sure if I'm going to water her today. I have her a liter of water yesterday. Maybe I'll dump 250ml top feed this afternoon.

She's too big now for rotation. So she will be staying stationary for the rest of the grow. She's also in no need for any trimming. Tons of light penetration.

She's stacking and drinking like mad. I took a pic and adjusted a couple leaves that were in the way. I'm not touching her for the rest of the day.

So my humidity goes up pretty high at night. Like 61%. I can't really figure out how to keep it down at night. My bedroom also has been getting hot at night and it's definitely more humid. Unfortunately I don't have control over that. So I have some concerns. I don't have a dehumidifier so I may be be screwed. However, I see the blumats are really doing a great job. She just started drinking super heavily. There's still moisture in the pot though, so maybe when it dries back out, my humidity levels will drop down again.

Not much to report today. She's healthy and happy. Added 750ml bottom feed distilled water. She's seemed really light, but the blumats are kickin'. That's all.

Her buds are certainly starting to grow fast. Another month of this and I will be a very happy person. Because she's an autoflower, I have her harvest date set to August 14, 2022. I can't wait!
