Impressions about plant
January 13, 2023 Day 50
WWA-1 is in her 2nd full week of flower. She can start taking nutrients in a couple days. Her structure is still a little wonky, but still around the size I was looking for width wise. She is just under 15" tall
WWA-2 looks fantastic! She started flowering a few days ago. She is also taller and has a more even spread in the canopy. Her foliage is also easier to manage. It's filling in nicely. Her stretch seems to be going strong. She's not going to get massive as I had hoped, but she will definitely be a good size. I won't be giving nutes until she finished her stretch. So about a week. Currently she is just over 15" tall.

Today both ladies are standing up quite nicely. They haven't really spiked in height, but we shall see in a week or so. WWA-2 is still kind of confusing. I'm going to keep an eye on her. I'm still not seeing white pistils from the nodes. Just green growth... I think? It kinda looks like flower? Lol. I'll just keep an eye. Lol.

Today our ladies are strong and beautiful. I have noticed a couple little interesting details with both ladies. WWA-1 has some really nice stacks and several obvious main colas. They each look like a tiny little plant each. There are about 7 of them. The rest of the tops are colas, but not with such a full structure if that makes sense. There is just more to those tops. WWA-2 is almost all like WWA-1 with her tops, but her flowering is still kinda weird. I'm finally seeing pistils in the buds, but not on the nodes really, or well they are there, but not developed yet. I finally got to start bloom nutes on WWA-1 today. 2.5 ml/gal. My feeding routine is based on what the plants want. I use a wicking system where I rest my fabric containers on top of a plant riser with cotton wicking string laced in. It all rests on top of a 12" injection saucer. It only holds 2 liters, but the cotton string rests in the reservoir and wicks to the fabric pot. In turn the pot and plant take what they need. So I only feed nutrients with every other gallon of water. So far it has been working like a dream. I fill it up in the morning and it lasts between 24 to 48 hours. Right now, they are taking in about 1.5 liters a day.
So I filled the reservoir with 2 liters of 2.5ml tiger bloom in for WWA-1. I'm waiting for the other one to really start flowering before I start her nutes.
I decided to do a nice defoliation on both ladies. About 10% of the excess foliage removed. WWA-1 looks smaller. But WWA-2 looks great! Not smaller, just less mass.

Today our ladies are very happy and healthy. WWA-2 has a wonderful structure. Nice level canopy. I measured the depth to 8" so I'm not sure if that is good or not, but I feel it's a good depth. WWA-1 doesn't have the same structure. Her canopy is really wonky. But it's about 7" from top to the lowest growth. I feel like that depth is good for light penetration.

Today, our ladies got a final defoliation. Just enough to give each branch a bit of room to breathe. WWA-1 is a little bit more compact so it's not as open as i would like, but I can take more leaves off slowly for another week or so.
On the other hand WWA-2 got the perfect hair cut. She only needed 12 leaves cut for a more uniform and open structure. She is roughly 13" across and even around her container. Very manageable and well prepared. I'm hoping for a last bit of stretch. I really would like to see a taller lady. Either way, I expect a great yield from this harvest. I can tell they will both have some great canopies. My guess right now with last white widow harvests and the last couple of blueberry harvests I have done. Their structure, shape, internodal spacing and the current look of the stacks, I would guess about 3 to 4 ounces each. If I can get the bloom nutrients perfectly spot on, I may be able to squeeze 5 ounces out of WWA-2.

Today our ladies are in their final structures. WWA-2 has some tie downs left and will stay on for the next week or 2. She has a near perfect canopy with a lot of level tops. I snipped the last of the lower largest fan leaves. And she is now complete. Now we just wait and enjoy the fruits she will produce.
WWA-1 is turning into a bud beast. She is covered in buds and tops. I took 2 random poking out leaves off. And now she is much cleaner. Both of these ladies are shaping up to be very productive plants. Time to let them do their thing.

Today, our ladies are looking super fantastic! WWA-1 is really popping her bud production. She stopped growing around 15" so that's kind of a bummer, but she should still produce some impressive bud.
WWA-2 on the other hand is standing straight up and has some beautiful purple starting in her leaves. Her buds are starting to look much nicer. And are starting to really take shape. I feel like this is my best plant yet, quality wise. She isn't as tall as I wanted, but she should also grow some award winning smoke. Lol I snipped 4 leaves from her. They were big and yellowing at the bottom and mid canopy. She is also quite leafy. I might take the time and start popping more leaves off gradually as she gets deeper into flower. You know, one here and there that is in the way. It's mostly the middle of the canopy. There are a lot of leaves on the lower nodes. I'm just not confident enough to trim like I see everyone else trimming. I did manage to keep the lower part of the plant clean of new growth and ensured to keep the lower canopy level as well. I have 1 node that I missed and I'll let just grow and see what happens. But both ladies are very well into their growth, so maybe less cutting. We shall see.
