Impressions about plant
February 10, 2023 Day 78.
This week is observation mostly observation. We are now into the 12th week of the grow cycle. I'll be harvesting on day 90. Maybe a few days later for WWA-2 as she started flowering late. All that being said, I'll start flushing in 5 days on day 83.
Next week is pre-harvest defoliation. I'll start that on day 87.
I snipped a few leaves here and there as I noticed more and more covered bud sites. I really need to learn how to defoliate properly. This should be have been done over a month ago.
As for nutrients, I'll be keeping them on the 7.5 ml/gal until flush.

Today is water upkeep and a little clip here and there. I'll be taking my time to get rid of the excess foliage and leave the more exposed leaves on. The goal is to avoid splitting colas and buds to get to tiny fan leaves during dry trim. I figure if I can get most of those off, the dry trim will be mostly manicuring while also leaving enough on there to get a good 7 to 10 days drying.

Today, WWA-1 got her last nutrient feeding before the flush. I'll be keeping WWA-2 on the feeding schedule for another few days.
As for defoliation, I'm going to do my pre harvest defoliation on day 83 instead of 87. I want to get the full week of recovery.
Based on a ton of info I have researched. I found that most do a pre harvest defoliation a week before. But why? We know trichome production increases during times of stress. So, in theory, when the plant recovers, it will resume normal production. Harvesting at that time should give the most trichomes possible. If anyone is actually reading, what are your thoughts on this concept?

Not much going on today. Ladies are watered and happy. So far no issues with the light setup. PAR reads around 850 ppfd. As a side effect, happily the temp in the tent is back to around 74°. Before the day temp was closer to 79°. The RH also increased slightly toward 55%. It benefits the perpetual harvest, so my younger plants aren't suffering from low RH.

Temp: 72.8°

Today is the start of plain water for WWA-1. She'll be ready for harvest in 8 days, so this is perfect timing. DLI is important. Our ladies are running at 45 DLI. Looking good. I also decided it was time for her pre harvest defoliation today. I took off any leaf I could find with a visible stem and some with easy access. There's still a lot of foliage, but it's much better now.
Grow System Environment:
Temp: 72°

It looks as though the defoliation from yesterday took well. WWA-1 looks like a bud bush now. She's also slowed down on water intake as well.
WWA-2 won't get a defoliation until I see at least 30% orange pistils. She has also slowed way down on water intake. To the point where the feeding system is barely being used anymore. I'm a bit concerned though. I feel like she should still be thirsty. Oh well.

Leaving the ladies alone today.
Observation: crunchy canoeing leaves on WWA-2. Started about a week ago. Maybe light issue? Light issue fixed. Not really sure what else.
