January 8, 2023 Still not flowering?
January 10, 2023 Those aren't flowers. And she isn't showing pre-flower yet. What is happening?! Lol
January 11, 2023 Should I clear out these lower bud sites or is it too late? Day 48

Impressions about plant

January 6, 2023 Day 43
These ladies are looking wonderful. Both are stretching fairly well. The one has finally hit pre-flower. They are both 13" tall today. I'm expecting to see a decent stretch. The ladies are happy, healthy and just look great! Coloring is rich and beautiful. Bud sites are nice and bright. They are covered in tops. And are absolutely ready to show their flowers. Did a little bit of leaf tucking too. Just to clear up a couple covered bud sites.

Today our ladies are looking great as always. I am a bit concerned with the one who started to flower on time. She doesn't seem to be stretching like she should. The other one who is just barely in pre-flower is starting to climb. Not by a lot, but she's steady. Also, not sure if this is good or bad, but she hasn't really shown her sex yet. The "pistils" are still like new growth with just leaves. They aren't white nor are there 2 of them. Hmmmm. I wonder if she is just a late bloomer. Orrrr, she's a photoperiod and I don't know it. Anyway, a bunch of the big discoloring fan leaves came off and a couple overshadowing inner leaves. I guess I'll find out in about a week is she is actually an autoflower. I won't complain about a photo period, but she will be stuck in 18/6 for the next 6 weeks.... Uh oh, how big will she be by then?! Pfft. Just a late flowering auto. If she is actually an autoflower, I can do 1 of 2 things. I can move her from the grow tent to a dark tent every 12 hours, or I can just wait it out and deal with a massive plant. Maybe the dark tent for 12 hours would be a good idea. Then I can keep my autoflowers going and not lose our on any potential grows or yield. Boom! All figured out... Contingent on her being a photo.

Update: The pictures from today are of each lady. You can clearly see that one is in full swing flower and the other isn't. The one in flower just seems off. Beautiful plant, but seems off, kinda like she forgot to stretch or something. If anyone has some insight, I'd be really interested to hear it.

So one of the ladies is full swing flower. Stretch is still going. The other one is stretching but not flowering at all. Photo?? I guess another week will tell. Both are still very happy and healthy. A couple of lower discolored leaves. But it's to be expected.

We finally got some noticable stretch last night. About 2 inches. The flowering one is doing great! Bud production looks good. Foliage is nice and lush. Did another light defoliation on the flowering lady. Just a bit to clear out some overlapping and shadowing leaves in one spot.

Today our ladies are looking stunning and taking wonderful shapes. The flowering one is a bit lopsided with her tops. Really condensed by the main top and widely dispersing on the opposite side. Most of the lower branches are in this area and only the outer branches kept up. Must have done the training wrong. Oh well, live and learn. The other one, however, has an amazing shape. She's climbing up nicely but still isn't in flower. I don't even see her showing her sex yet. I added a picture for anyone to check it out. What do you all think? Canopy is pretty level and a lot of bud sites and side branch tops are up as well. This one is taking in about 1.5 liters water a day. I was going to start running their bloom nutes together, but no way will that work. I'll start nutes on the flowering lady next week. And see what happens with the other one. Might have to do that switch tent idea after all. Lol maybe.

Today our ladies are really starting to take shape and turning into nice little bushes. The one finally hit pre-flower. My flowering lady is looking amazing with nice internodal spacing and great bud production. Multiple tops and tall branches. I took most of the tie downs off this one to let her grow more vertical and keep compact. The tie downs are still on the other one. She has a better structure than the other lady. And needs to be held in place. I think I need to name them. This is getting confusing. Lol. Widow 1 and widow 2. 1 is flowering and 2 is pre-flower.
2 is all set with her structure and will be left alone for the most part now. Maybe a couple cuts here and there. I also took some lower popcorn bud sites out of both of them. Just the very lowest nodes. Cleaned up nicely and hopefully will direct energy upward.

Update: so I was observing my plants from a distance to see what I could do for better light penetration. I just noticed that one of these ladies has a strange color pattern. There is a lighter green strip of foliage down the middle of the plant. Dark green on either side. I'll post a pic next week when I have more room for photos. But weird. It's like a stripe. She's still super healthy, just a weird color pattern. I just read that the light green means she is stretching. That makes sense. The sides that are darker, are taller than the center. Interesting. I will keep a close eye and update as needed.

Today is the lives of the white widow twins, 1 is beautiful. Growing nicely and bud production is on point. 2 is finally in pre-flower. Not much else to report. Kinda nothing to do today.
