01/04 - Day 40 - flowering laggard back left. Shorty on a stand front middle.

Impressions about plant

01/04 (Day 40) - My supercropping needs work. Looks like I didn't roll-and-soften enough. Stems are creased and brown where bent. Top part of stem is bent to the light and looks fine, though.

01/05 (Day 41) - Tops of tallest buds are about even for 4 of 5. The laggard is starting to stretch and catch up though. I'll have to look back, but I'm guessing about a week behind the rest. Shorty is only even at the top because of the plant stand (hardback "The Stand" by S. King (get it?!)). With leaves duskier in flower the humidity is much easier to control. Seeing 40's on occasion, but mostly 50's. I've got some defol on the calendar for this weekend for light blocking leaves are lower larf.

01/06 (Day 42) - Getting light burn. Moved the light way up. Highest PPFD on the tallest points under the center are now about 1300, with most tall points closer to 1100. Getting much better light to the corners with the light higher, around 500 or so.

01/08 (Day 44) - Big defol done today, including a good lollipopping of the undercarriage. Took a bunch of shoots out of the lower end that were not going to reach the canopy. Left others that are lower than the canopy and probably should have been pulled. I guess we'll see.... I did a plant rotation when I put them back in the tent. The intent was for the ones in the back to go to the front and vice versa (except for shorty). I screwed up the execution and only did the front back swap on two, but everyone's in a different corner now in any event.

My supercrop first experiment caused some real damage to 4 stems. The breaks are brown and somewhat floppy, but the upper growth is still alive and well. Pretty sure they will heal up fine, so it's a cheap learning lesson. I did a one on a different stem the day after that I rolled and crushed much more before tipping over. That one looks and feels great after only a few days of recuperation.

I started rotating the plants a quarter turn every watering earlier in the week, but pots were at all different rotations. Since I suffer from CRS (can't remember shit) I was having issues with whether I did that one or not. When I loaded everyone back in the tent they are all in the same rotational position. Genius!

Saturday means Recharge day. Yesterday everyone got Tribus mixed in the full nute mix. Today I mixed 6 gallons of nutes, and set half a gallon aside. Each plant got 1 gallon, and the extra half gallon went to top off the ones with the least drain-to-waste (just to get rid of it). Let the plants drip for an hour. Mixed the half gallon of nute mix with a gallon serving of both Recharge and Lumina (first time for Lumina). Used my big syringe to splurt 400 ml of the mix around each trunk, maybe 3" radius. Waited a half hour and pulled off the waste.

01/09 (Day 45) - Tallest points are about 35" from the dirt and 14" from the light. Is the stretch over? I sure hope we're close. One week ago the tallest were at 26".
