Impressions about plant
The harvest section of this journal is not working...this is my last update.
This was my first outdoor grow. The Granddaddy Purple did really well other than the bud rot. I lost quite a few colas to it, but still have 19 ounces curing. It was the shortest of the 5 plants I grew at 96”. She produced some nice nugget buds. I have grown it a few times indoors and like it right before bed.
Lessons learned on this grow
• Growing really big plants is a pain in the ass
• Bud rot is real, smaller plants and buds will help
• Should stick to Indica Hybrids for outside grows
• A little peroxide goes a long way
• Can start seeds April first instead of in March
• Consider mold resistant strains
• I don’t have enough sunlight to get really dense buds
• A second Cannatrol makes sense
• The cotton from the trellis netting I used acted as a nexus for bud rot
