Impressions about plant
The Granddaddy Purple is now 184 days old. She spent 126 days in veg…inside for 30 days, in a greenhouse tent outside for 20 days, and the rest out on the deck. (My first ever outdoor grow). She topped out at 96” after the stretch. She is now on day 49 of flower. It has been very rainy and in the low 70s. Does not get full sun until the afternoon…and only for a few hours.
She has slowed her water consumption, so I am only feeding once a week using Advanced Nutrients. Her buds are getting big, dense, and frosty…but they are getting bud rot. I did an aggressive defoliation yesterday and have a fan blowing on her. I covered her with plastic last night to try to keep her drier. I have still lost quite a few buds to rot. She is in the early harvest window, so I selectively harvested some branches in congested areas…they are drying now. Regularly see bug damage so I spray her every few days rotating between Captain Jacks Dead Bug, PureCrop1, and Crop Defender. I am going to drop the Captain Jacks and just use the other two because they both have antifungal properties.
She is in a 30-gallon pot on my deck. Her deck mates are a Gold Leaf, a Bubba Kush, and two Amnesia Hazes.
