Impressions about plant
The Granddaddy Purple is now 191 days old. She spent 126 days in veg…inside for 30 days, in a greenhouse tent outside for 20 days, and the rest out on the deck. (My first ever outdoor grow). She topped out at 96” after the stretch. She is now on day 56 of flower. She is now on day 56 of flower. We have been lucky this week with no rain, she only gets about 2.5 hours of direct sunlight.
She has slowed her water consumption so I am only feeding once a week using Advanced Nutrients…but will be feeding just water moving forward. I am still struggling with bud rot and have lost nearly a pound of finished product to rot so far. I started harvesting early and have done three batches so far. The plant still has many buds on it, but I also have some in various stages of drying and curing. I still see some bug damage, so I spray her every 3 days with either PureCrop1 or Crop Defender…these also have anti-fungal properties. I also sprayed the plant with 3% peroxide right after the rain to stave off the bud rot, there is a high CFM fan blowing on the plants 24/7 to keep air moving.
She is in a 30-gallon pot on my deck. Her deck mates are a Gold Leaf, a Bubba Kush, and two Amnesia Hazes.
