Impressions about plant
2/10/22 Day 10 - I've got my dates mixed up. Day 9 appears on last week, should be on this week. Oh well.
The girls are keeping busy. Claudette's "wingspan" of her 1st leaves is 3 inches, Audrey's is 1.5, and Betty - well, she's still being Betty. Her span is .5 inch. Her stem looks very healthy though, and what little green she's got is actually a good color. So she gets to continue to stay in the tent, though if space becomes a problem, she might get culled. But for now, where there's life there's hope and we soldier on.
2/11/22 - Day 11 - Betty must have heard me typing the above, she has grown a wee bit overnight. Go Betty go! The really impressive one is Claudette - her leaves are just about as wide at the top of her cup already and she's going to be getting out of the banana peels first. Audrey is puttering along, but I note that baby Shirley next door is almost as big. Hopefully she'll get her roots to the super soil soon and really get to growing! Last night, I watered "outside" of the cups with about a quart each for the large pots, and less for the small one. PH 6.5 water, Fishsh!t, and Recharge. Also a tiny, tiny bit "inside" the cups. Set the RH at 70 this morning - not certain the hygrometer can get it quite that high, but we'll do the best we can.
2/12/22 Day 12. Claudette continues to impress. She grew wider overnight. The girls don't seem to be making huge height gains but they have all grown their leaves to some extent - even Betty is looking a bit bigger. Audrey splits the middle as she is still very little, but very healthy. Continuing to mist the top of the coco to keep it damp. Claudette will likely lose her cup in the upcoming week.
2/13/22 Day 13 - Claudette continues to impress, I cannot deny it. Audrey is puttering along, looking cute and tiny. Betty, well - as far as I can tell, she hasn't done much this week. Tent is properly dialed in w/r/t RH and temperature. The DLI will slowly be raised to 25 by the end of next week.
2/15/22 Day 15 - Missed the journal yesterday but it was a very busy day. Due to ongoing heat problems, I decided to give the girls the 6/2 - 6/2 - 6/2 light treatment. I also lowered the light in the big tent - down to 30 inches - and turned the dimmer back down to put them to 25 DLI. I finally turned on the big fan, and even with it on the lowest possible level, the tent inflates. The exhaust is on full. I decided to leave one of the duct sleeves open on the tent to let some wind out. Moved Audrey to the back of the tent and away from that direct stream, plus added back the original humidifier so now there's two going round the clock.
Gave the girls water into the main pots, with Fish Sh!t, Recharge, MagiCal, and Silica Boost, all at 1/2 strength.
2/16/22 Day 16 - Claudette got the "peels" removed today. I could swear she looked relieved. I gave her .5 liter of water as above. Not much, just enough to get the top nicely moistened. Her color is better and she is growing like crazy. Audrey has made some gains also, I think she's happy in her new spot. I think that even though she's small, I'm going to pull her peels tomorrow. The 2 gallon pot will be easier to water without it in the way. Betty, well - I don't quite know what to do with her but keep an eye on her, and hope she comes around.
