2/3/22 Day 3: All three are growing. Audrey has weird cotyledons, one is twice as long as the other. She seems fine other than that, her first leaves are normal. Claudette is fine and healthy, the strongest of the bunch so far. Betty is a mutant, both of her first leaves look as if they are pointing in the same direction, and they are flattened. We will see what happens with her, but she could be a dreaded "LSD Twistie", I hope not. I'll watch her especially closely.

2/4/22 Day 4 - Well, Betty looks a bit worse today. Her cotyledons are turning a purplish color, and her leaves are not progressing. She's being watched carefully, and babied as much as possible.
Audrey and Claudette look fine and healthy. Audrey's pot was really dried out - that 2 gallon has to be watched! So the pot got 1/2 cup of water, with a few ml circled inside the edge of the Solo cup. They are still under domes. I cut down some 1 liter seltzer bottles, perfect size for the sprouts!

2/5/22 Day 5. I took the domes off for a bit last night, and put them back at lights off. They came off again this morning, keeping DLI at 12 , will increase to 13 tomorrow. Audrey is the tallest at 2.5 in, Claudette at 2, and Poor Betty at 1.5. Betty still looks odd, though she did lift her leaves off the cotyledons. I'm giving her one to two weeks max to show me something. The two other showed their next leaves this morning and seem to be doing very well. Tent temps holding low 70s, RH at 60, I'm going to turn down the exhaust a bit to bring the temp up a little bit. That problem will take care of itself once I start increasing the lights, the driver is 94 degrees currently.

2/7/22 Day 7 - Forgot to update yesterday! All seems well, the girls are out of the domes and they grew themselves into DLI 13, which saves me the trouble of adjusting the light. Betty looks to be coming around, her height is good though her leaves are very much smaller than her sisters'. We'll keep monitoring.

2/8/22 Day 8 - Claudette's first leaves are growing longer every day, they are reaching out toward the edge of the cup. Audrey is smaller, but she's greener and her leaves are fat, whereas Claudette's look longer. I believe I'm going to have a "different phenotype" grow this time. Betty is still Betty, her tiny leaves are healthy, if oriented in the wrong direction. I'm expecting her to survive - but only time will tell if she amounts to anything. Since I have the space, I'm going to continue to let her grow until she shows me I shouldn't.

The girls will get a tiny drink of Recharge, silica boost, MagiCal, and Root 66 today. If they continue the growth I'm seeing now, likely I'll be easing them out of their cups sometime in week 2.

2/9/22 Day 9. Claudette continues to be the biggest, stretching her first leaves out closer to the edge every day. Second leaves are growing, very tightly together. Audrey is smaller, but growing strong. Betty is - Betty. I can't quite figure out what I'm seeing with her. I'll have to pull her out of the tent and scope her. After studying up a bit more on VPD I'm working on getting my numbers tightly dialed in. Upped the RH to 65% today, and should reset it later at bedtime to 55. Upped DLI to 15 and rearranged the girls a bit to make the numbers more even.
