Weekly Summary:
Added some new equipment this week. New 2500W equivalent LED grow light, Exhale XL CO2 bag, carbon filtered 4" intake ventilation system. Remote monitored thermometer/hydrometer, remote monitored water thermometer. I added the room A/C back into the tent because the new light puts off a little more heat than the old one (which I"m using to germinate a separate grow. I have a new humidifier coming today to reduce some of the fluctuations that I've noticed when the A/C is running. I also received the full spectrum of nutrients that I've been planning to use.
Both plants have grown quite a bit this past week. I introduced them to some nutes that I had while I waited for the full spectrum that I'm now using. The responded well. I noticed some damage on one of the plants and found that some electrical tape had gotten into the reservoir, and had contaminated the water. Only one plant was affected because only one plant's roots had reached the water.
I introduced the new round of nutrients on 1/8 and the plants seem to be responding well. The new CO2 bag isn't producing at peak production yet, but has gotten us to a steady 1000ppm. That's a big increase from the aquarium generator system that I was using, which I've now deprecated.
