The Gold Leaf 5 days after transplanting outside
The Gold Leaf is the middle plant on the right

Impressions about plant

It has been 52 days since the Gold Leaf sprouted. I consider this the 35th day of veg. She vegg’ed inside for 30 days and she has been in a greenhouse tent outside for 5 days. (My first ever outdoor grow) She is 31” tall now (after topping once) and is taller than any plant I have grown previously. Inside I had her down to a 15-hour light cycle with a 15 minute “on period” in the middle of the dark period. Now that she is outside, I have a 60-watt bulb coming on for 45 min at 2 am to prevent flowering. We are in a cold rainy spell…temps the last two days were low 60s for highs and 45 for a low…humidity 90% +. I do have a fan circulating air in the tent. Even with the bad conditions, she has grown 5” in the last 5 days.

I did some more updressing and transplanted her into a 45-gallon Dirt Bag grow bag. I used 4 to 1 ration of Ocean Forest Soil and xtra large and chunky vermiculite. I put a 1.5” layer of xtra large pearlite on the surface to deter bugs and keep the soil cooler in the summer. I watered her in with week 2 nutrients on the Advanced Nutrient master grower soil chart…but I used the bloom bases instead of the grow bases because the Ocean Forest has plenty of nitrogen.

She will be in the 6 x 6 greenhouse tent for the next couple of weeks while I am on vacation and then I will move her outside. Her tentmates are a Bubba Kush, a Granddaddy Purple, and 2 Amnesia Haze
