Impressions about plant
The harvest section of this journal is not working so this is my last update
This was my first outdoor grow. The Gold Leaf did well, except for the bud rot. I lost quite a few colas to it, but still have 15 ounces curing. This plant smelled the best…even during drying, but had the most small larfy buds. I grew it once inside and liked it for an afternoon buzz.
Lessons learned on this grow
• Growing really big plants is a pain in the ass
• Bud rot is real, smaller plants and buds will help
• Should stick to Indica Hybrids for outside grows
• A little peroxide goes a long way
• Can start seeds April first instead of in March
• Consider mold resistant strains
• I don’t have enough sunlight to get really dense buds
• A second Cannatrol makes sense
• The cotton from the trellis netting I used acted as a nexus for bud rot
