Impressions about plant
Oct. 13 - Checked the underside of the seedling trays and i can see the tap root sticking out of most of them. As far as i can see, it's time to move them into their new (and final) pots. I filled each pot with a good amount of Ocean Forest soil and tapped down the soil with 15 or so pounds of pressure. then added more soil on top. I planted very carefully, each plant into its own pot. I did bury the stem of Golden Leaf some to ensure it isn't getting too leggy. But I may have been too light. probably could have buried it more. I took time and watered each one really well. With more dirt, more water is natural. As for lighting, that's still a concern. The temperature of the new grow lights are making the area below them very hot. My thermometer has it about 82 degrees, which is tolerable. I read on a post that good air circulation can help keep the plants very good, even if it's a little warm.
Oct. 14 - AM - They didn't get Shocked!! The plants seem just fine. I had only the lower 2 LED lights and added 2 CFL daylights in some light clamps. I kept them set up like that all night and when i woke up at 6am, the plants were doing ok, but since I put the new LED lights on the periphery of the others, i could see the plants were leaning towards that light. Clearly, they want it more. So i set them back up and gave it to them all day. Came home and at 6pm, I can see the 2 smaller LED panels are making the plants "Pray" with their little leaves aiming up. (supposed to be a good sign) and the two under the white ones (at about 10" away) were leaning down after 12 hours, which is a sign that they are getting too much light. SO... I raised them up to about 12 or 13" above and we'll see how the plants do now. I also added water to the soil and will let them hang out for the next day or so. The good news is they are clearly NOT suffering having been moved into their new homes. I also added a TINY drip of GROW fertilizer to 9 or 10 oz of water. mixed it and then used a pipet to drip around the plant before I poured the water into the pot. so while the soil is naturally good stuff, the tiny bit of fertilizer didn't do it any harm.
I chose Vine Vitality's Big Blood & Buds all natural 3-phase
