It Happened!
I decided to start with a test. A single decent cola that had amber trichomes from each plant. I used my freeze drier on "Candy mode" which is a very short cycle. The initial 3 hr didnt dry enough, so i did another medium cycle for 6 hours more at very low temp. The result was a 65% humid jar ready. So i dropped a humidor monitor in each and burped daily. Of the 3 strains, only white widow got in to 70%+ so i let it air dry a bit longer. One thing i noticed, the smell reminded me of seaweed wraps you get for sushi. My guess is its the chlorophyll escaping. But it has been fading while in the jar.
The rest of the plants, i chopped them down a few days later. I have small 18 inch 4-story dry nets but learned very fast that i had WAY more than 2 of those would allow. So i decided to use my trillis net to hang the rest.
Honestly, i think 2 trellis nets stacked in each tent is ideal for the airflow and optimum space.

So after 5 days jarred, the freeze dry test was sitting right at 62% RH in the jar. I HAD to check it out. I went with Gold Leaf first. I use a dry herb vaporizor so im not "burning" it. Now im not a connoisseur by any means, but this was fantastic. The effect was mild at first, slight numbing in the throat and then all my physical pain disappears and stays gone all night. The effect dissipated slowly and after about 6 hrs i was clear and relaxed, ready for bed.
Once the harvest is completely dry, ill post my final numbers. But no joke, this is for real.
