Plants primarily left to grow as they want. Did some LST but very little defol
Plants that were heavily LSTed and defoled. Look at the difference.
#3 came out of nowhere on maturing and trichs. The plant was very small (not many bud branches) -- but she gave up a pretty oz.
#3 fit perfectly in the 1 oz grow bag.

Impressions about plant

5-29: The grow is going well. Looks like I have two segments -- one almost ready for harvest, one a few weeks out. The ones that are more ready are the ones I LSTed and defoled pretty good. The buds are big. The others are plants I've pretty much allowed to do what they want, with some LST -- very little defol. Hmmmm. Only using CalMag + Flowertime on those that still have a lot of time. Water only in those getting ready to harvest. Will have to water and do nutes today.
5-29: Took #3 out of the dryer as the meter read 10-11% on bud moisture (stems still read 15 or so). Trimmed and got exactly one ounce... which is really a good indicator for the rest of the girls, as #3 was very small and matured really fast. Put into a Grove bag -- the first time using it. The oz fit in the bag nicely. Concerned about the room being too hot. Thinking of lower light settings and lowering the light to see if that will combat some of the heat they generate.
5-29 Water/Nutes -- all flushed plants got just pHed water (6.2). I flushed #11, so no nutes. Non flushed plants got Flowertime and CalMag at 6.2 pH going in.
The numbers:
Not yet flushed plants #7 6.1/3800 ppm #8 6.2/2800 #4 6.4/2300 #2 Zebra 6.2/2845 #5 6.3/3200
Flushed plants #10 6.2/1300 #6 6.3/1976 #9 6.2/1850 #1 just water as poor little Lemon doesn't know what's going on. My one-bud plant.
5-31 Everyone looks good, after water/nutes/flushing, etc. I'm surprised, however, that the most mature plants aren't yet ready to pluck. I thought two, at least, would be ready by today. But, I want to let them go a while and see what happens. I'm going to wait for significant amber trichs before cutting. In the Grove Bag today #3 was at 58%RH, but the storage area is too hot.
6-1 #12 surprised me at noon today. She was brown and totally dried out. I looked at trichs and saw amber, so I pulled her, because of how dry she was. Don't know if that was a good or bad decision. We'll see. She's in the dryer. Pre trim/limb removal she was 4.2 oz. She metered at 19.4%.
6-2 #12 is drying. Checked buds -- they are between 12 and 20% -- who wins that battle? On all the runoff concern a few days ago -- I watered, no nutes today. Everyone got water. Improved #s today. Upped the ingoing pH when watering to 6.7. Same pH coming out with much improved ppm#s. Checked the five plants I was concerned about. With 45 ppms going in I got runoff between 1000 and 2200. If ppms are high, you can increase ingoing pH to help lower ppms and still be in pH range. Still fighting intense heat. Today with fan running, door open, studio and green room AC's running and dehumidifier was able to say 82-84 with 45 - 55 RH. Dry tent running with ac hose and humidifier. Today 70/66RH inside. Should NOT let RH get above 60 in drying room. Two floor fans running.
