Nice looking GDP bud on trim day
The GDP bud on the right is on dry day 6...the other bud is a BBK
Got over 5 grams of magic fairy dust with my grow
I found this untrimmed small GDP bud in my couch yesterday...look how frosty the thing is...the colas are better!
This the the GDP all bagged up in their Grove cure bags...can't wait to taste test them then

Impressions about plant

These were very forgiving plants as I am learning and made many mistakes. The have very short internodal spacing, so the growth was very dense. It is a slow grower and my tallest plant topped out at 27 inches....but also had one at 20 inches. They took strong nutrients well, tolerated heavy topping and nutrients. The yield was less that the BBK plant they were in with, but I am happy with what I got.

The harvest info is for the whole tent so the calculations would be right. I got 8 ounces from the one BBK and 17 ounces from the three GDP plants. for a total of just about 25 ounces for the grow. I also did get some larfy buds, that were very frosty, but not hard and included them with the trim...not the bud weight.

I would still heavily top...but only about three times instead of constantly. I would certainly thin out the canopy...and I would have started a flush a little earlier.

This is my first tent grow with a LED light and the first of any kind in decades. I jotted down some of my lessons learned here...take them for what you will.

Lessons learned
• Start seedlings with the light much closer
• Do not FIM Indica dominant plants for their initial top– slows growth too much and may not break apical dominance
• Access to three side of the tent would have made things easier – this resulted in more larf than I wanted because it was hard to groom the plants with the front zipper broke and limited access to the left side. Will fix both before the next grow.
• Use a tarp under the tent and extended out for dirt and nutrient spills – use waterproof canvas – you are not as neat as you think you are.
• A larger/ faster RO unit would have been better – I would forget it was on and overflow buckets…then had a capacity issue as feeding took more water
• Must have a good plan to handle the heat and humidity during all stages
• Reaching in a tent is hard on the back
• The various fans are louder than I expected
• I need to put more pearlite in the 7-gallon pots…I never really got to a 2-day cycle during flower
• Saucers under the risers would help know how much runoff each plant is having…easier to vacuum
• I probably can get the same benefit on the first defoliation if I leave some of the smaller, hard to cut, leaves. I literally took off everything I could wedge my scissors in…that added a day or so to recovery. Will just do ones I can “easily” cut off in the future.
• I probably should have flipped them a week earlier – the tent was jammed
• Will likely veg with light on 24 hours for the first two weeks from sprouting before going to 18 / 6
• I need to really bullet-proof the humidity during drying…this needs to be a priority. All but the dry trimmed GDP went into the curing bags too dry. My buddy turned me on to Inkbird humidity controllers and I am going to add one to the mix…the ones built into the units are unreliable
• I need to cut an entire week out of the middle of the Success flower feeding schedule for plants that are Indica dominant so that I get an adequate flush…I got the bare minimum this time.
• Wet rimming takes a long time and is sticky…but I found it easier
• If animals are allowed in the grow room, your power will get knocked out and there will be hair on your buds
• An 840-watt LED light uses a lot of electricity – need a smaller grow light for seedling stage
• Water is heavy…and you use a lot if it when using nutrients. Locating tent near the water source will make life easier – never put more than 4 gallons in a five-gallon bucket…almost impossible not to spill

Thanks to all that helped me along the way especially @skydiver for getting me going.
