Impressions about plant
1/2/22 Day 55 Lucy continues to fatten her buds. This morning she weighed 7.4 lbs, and got a half gallon of pH 6.5 water with 5 ml of Sugar Daddy. I noted that this morning her lower buds have started showing a twinge of purple at the top. I was advised to try to drop her nighttime temperature into the 60s to encourage this, so today I'm going to close the room vent. The extremely unseasonable weather (50s and 60s outside in January? After a warm December?) is about to come to an abrupt end - we're expecting snow tomorrow! So I'm sure it will become easier to achieve the proper temperatures. Her scent is now so strong she overpowers her enormous filter, and the fragrances catches in the throat while I'm doing my daily inspection. I expect she is in "late flowering", given she's had flowers on her for 40 days tomorrow, plus the changes in color etc. Pistils are starting to pop out of the bud bright orange instead of white. Interesting stage, and I've observed a few cloudy trics under 60x magnification so we're moving right along. Time to start reading up on what to do at harvest, etc. Her sugar leaves are completely frosted on both sides, so I suspect making something with them is in my future.
