Week 3: No issues at this point, Plants look healthy. Tested soil PH with Blue Lab soil probe: PH 6.3. Oct 28: Watered until just short of runoff with tap water and Recharge Ph 6.3. Lights 24" @ 50%, 18 / 6. Temp Range: 66 - 78F Humidity Range: 68 - 75 %, Air circulation: Exhaust fan Low speed, Circulation fan low speed. Anticipated watering schedule no added nutrients until 5th week. Going forward into weeks 4 and 5 I will use the "5 day rule": Water on day 1 and day 6 giving the plants 1 wet day and 4 dry days. As the plants grow will adjust as required. Want roots to search for h20 within the medium in theory helping them to grow in size and increase the amount of oxygen availability. Having more wet days then dry days starve the roots of O2. Decided on Mega Crop as my base nutrient.
