I didn't take pictures during germination but it was obvious from the start that one was growing faster than the other. Notice how much smaller the rockwool cube is on the little one. I had to cut the cube in half to accommodate the little plant as I needed to get it into some nutrients. I germinated in plain water. I remember the taproot on the little one grew in a zig zag pattern, not straight down and that also complicated the matter.
