Impressions about plant

9.11 My 6” clip fan shid the bed. Also, we got gnats. Don’t judge me! I’m using D earth to remedy, which makes soil alkaline, but I’m getting a new fan today. Them clip fans are $15-$20 of straight dookie. I knew it wouldn’t last. Might buy another and return the 1st. Sike, das thievery, but I can think about it all I want to. Gals dgaf if gnats clean their den, but Eww nature. Can’t do much, but deal with it, so here we are - dealing with it

9.12 I just replaced the 6” clip fan for one I got at Lowe’s for $13. It’s fabulous and has a year warranty I expect to utilize with 24/7 usage under 300watts. $13 is $13, man! Them things barely last a cycle. A year is a year. Nobody tell em we’re using them 24/7 under LEDs. Make em pay the stankin $13! For real!

Liza is looking good enough to tuck and fold almost, but her stem ain’t there yet. Idk if this strain will ever get LSTable. We’ll see when they get more fully into a vegetative state. Angel isn’t C-shaped anymore. It wasn’t necessary to hoist either lady straight, but it made me feel better. Bet I anchor that main stem before I start to do so much as pet a leaf! I learned a lot from Stuart. RIP, ya ole foxy tranny you. I still love that MFer.

9.13 Not much to report other than rapid node making. The stems are too spindly to tuck or train just yet. Patience is a virtue, ya know.

9.14. Angel is really dragging her leafy ass, ain’t she?! She has light damage on a fan and it’s barely a duck leaf yet. Liza is doing beautifully. She’s so strong.

Both have these super tiny white bugs deep down in the soil. I see em move post-water. I think they might be Oribatid mites, which are attracted to decomposing wood. If so, they’ll stay away from foliage and just clean up dead roots for me. I lied yellow traps down a few days ago and all I’ve caught was my own finger on it. Better than catching a precious leaf. I welcome rot eaters, not gnats! When U garden, especially organically, ya find shit like that. It’s gross, but not all bad. Look at mealworms. They’re gross friends with plants. Ya just accept it, ya know.

9.15 No water today cause they’re not asking for it yet. The white bugs are only in the Dr Earth pot and are likely doing visibly great things for L, if I can ignore the mites 2-3” under topsoil. Looking at Liza, I think I can accept good bugs.

Next grow, I’ll put the Dr earth in the left pot and not the right to be sure it’s not sweeter lighting helping the right. Right is technically centered on account of space heater on right, but 9” fan is on left, so pots should be pretty even.

I turned on my carbon fan last night cause heat was kinda jungly in there, excellent RH tho. The smell is fabulous, not earthy at all. I didn’t expect them to start permeating a tasty smell so young. These autos don’t play, man. I’m about to grab my lobster bib just to look at em. I’m ready to eat! Lol

9.16 Yeah they stink! It ain’t wet earth either, it’s for sure a weed smell. My filter pours into the basement, but that carbon must be working cause I don’t smell it outside the tent at all. Props to Vivosun for my 190 CFM Australian carbon filter for under $100. It’s super quiet, but Idk why they bother to put a dimmer on it. I always run mine full force or not at all.

9.17 Angel’s stem is staying spindly. I propped her straight with a chopstick in the soil to make her foliage go straight upwards. Who would’ve thought I’d be anchoring a baby’s stem?! I’m going to wrap nute around her spindly ass and make her grow straight and strong.

I really think that extra fees with the soil mites must be helping Liza a lot cause she’s so lush and happy. Maybe Liza is just a better seed or in a sweet light spot, but Liza is my super plant this round. I’m not quitting on Angel 2. She’s still very special by herself, even if she is proving to be the more difficult lady.

I watered today, 8oz each, even though they weren’t asking. The soil was dry down low and I didn’t want them to beg for water. It’ll be a while before I water again. Ima go jute loop Angel’s stem. That impish thang is gone learn, we all grow in this tent!
