Impressions about plant
9.4 Angel still refuses to sprout any green. I’m gonna soak a new Angel from Sunday morning to Monday night and put that one in soil soon as it pops. I’m gonna move old Angel to a seed cell. If old Angel does manage to sprout, I’ll put her in a 10qt pot off to the side in my dome and just tab her, Angel 1.
It’s human err, really. Angel popped, but was planted too shallow. I can tell Liza isn’t liking the light level at 75% cause her cotyledons are praying for shade, so I moved it to 65%. Popping another Angel at 9am, checking at 1.5 days, so 9pm Monday night.
9.5 Angel 1 is a no go due to being planted too shallow and being exposed to light too early. It’s ok. I have an Angel 2 a week behind her OG sis. Her tap is super straight and beautiful. I’m glad I replaced her. I was hoping I could salvage everyone, but live and learn.
Liza is doing great. She prefers a dinner just a hair under 75%. U can see her cotyledons started to “pray for shade,” when the light was above 75%. We’re going into autumn here, so vapor pressure is making the RH a bit closer to 65% on average. I think early spring and fall are the best indoor growing times. Ya can’t avoid vapor air pressure, not even in a tent.
9.6 Angel 2 was planted deep, so she hasn’t broke soil yet. Liza has cotyledons and her 2nd set of nodes. She’s still about 2”, but growing nicely. With RH balanced and heat high, I’m loving the atmosphere of my tent! We should be naturally dry by harvest. This is like the best grow ever for me, I mean, out of two so far. Lol
9.7 Isn’t Angel 2 the most cutest little baby cannabi you’ve ever seen?! Liza nor Runtous was ever that small that I can remember. Little Angel is my most beloved mini cannabinnie! I am in love with her.
Liza is making some gorgeous nodes. Still only about 2” on her. She’s a little leggy and bendy, but good genes expect to be LSTed. She’s just eager to be airy. My gals are doing great and this party’s just getting started.
9.8 Angel got her 1st set of true leaves pushing out of her cotyledons. She’s so strong and hardy. Liza is still doing just fine. She’s a bit lanky, but I turned her pot before her stem went too bent. I can’t wait to start tucking and using jute to space out huge fan leaves. I’m so eager, but they’re just so small. Patience really is a virtue that I should acquire.
9.9 Liza’s stem was c-shaped, so I’m gently forcing her straight with a chopstick. She’s gonna be fine. She’s just a top heavy gal and that’s fine. I hope she stays that way.
Angel is slow and steady, standing tall and strong. I have high hopes for my gals. They’re individuals with their own plant problems. We can take solace in knowing it’s too damn hot and windy in there for the gnat bastards to show up. That huge lip of each pot was on purpose, to protect them from wind, and it seems to be doing it’s job.
9.10 Angel is bending leggy like a C too. I think maybe it’s just the wedding cake auto strain, but it could be my light is too low. It’s just a hair under 75%. I don’t wanna burn em. I’m only giving about 4-8oz water each once a day. I don’t really know what moisture control soil does with it, but the gals don’t appear dry. They look good. Liza is starting to shrub out, like a good lil indica. Yeah, be that part now and go full sativa come feel time for mama. Lol They good. My little can-doers are all of 2”. All I do is ask, “Y’all want some water? Can I tuck that leaf for you,” for at least the next 7 weeks or so.
