Impressions about plant
Hey @jaydawg…I did reply to you…not sure why many of my posts get lost in moderation so I will answer here. I do the defoliation on day one of flip and on day 21. It does shock the plants…but it causes them to focus on their fruit and gives them the most light right when they need it. They do slow down drinking for that first week, but I feed them heavy and they always seem to recover. I started doing this back in the 80s, and when I got back into it last year both my light company and nutrient company teach this method…good luck gromie
It has been 96 days since the Chocolope sprouted. She is two days younger than her tent mates and is much shorter than them, I have her raised 9” more than her tent mates. I veg’d her for 32 days. I consider this Day 52 of Flower…meaning since the flip to 12/12. 900+ PPFD, the humidity has been at or around 52%, and I just lowered the temp trip point to 83.
I am using the Acclimated Flowering Schedule for Success Nutrients and a feed, feed, feed, flush cadence. Very slight fingertipping from the nutes. . I started feeding every other day even if she is still a little heavy. I want her to get the nutes and I will harvest before overwatering becomes a problem. The buds are building huge, smell great, are frosty, and the hairs are still pearly white. She may go all the way to the end of December.
