Impressions about plant
It has been 118 days since the Big Bud sprouted. She veg’d for 32 days. I harvested the top part of the plant on day 59 after the flip and the rest on day 66. The first batch dried for 8 days before I began curing, the second harvest had all small buds so they only dried for 7 days before I bagged them up for curing today.
The plant really did not thrive like her tent mates are. She was an 85% indica and I was feeding more on a sativa schedule…may not have given the nutes when needed. She also did not cycle as much as her tent mates…so her roots were always a little wet when I watered…may have stunted her…might not have added enough perlite. Her colors were awesome…she turned a purple so dark it looks like black in the pictures.
I had a chance to smoke some a couple of times. Has a smooth taste that has a sweet after taste. The buds were super frosty, and I caught some good buzzes. Can’t wait to see what it tastes like after an eight-week cure.
I was disappointed with the size of the buds and the yield from the plant. 5 ¼ ounces is not bad for being jammed in a 4x4 with 4 other plants…but is the least amount I have harvested from a single plant.
Totals: (Had to fudge room size and watts etc. above since this was only 20% of the harvest from the 4x4 tent)
First harvest was 300 grams of wet trimmed good buds and the second was another 293 grams for a total of 593 grams.
The first batch dried to 76 grams of good dry buds and the second batch was 71 grams for a total of 147 grams or 5 ¼ ounces
