I am seeing slow but steady growth. The pH of my runoff is consistently lower than the scale on my test strips. I bought a bag of lime and will apply before the next watering.

8/23 update-Applied bone meal and hydrated lime in a mixture of FF OF and topped off both plants. I loosened up the top soil and worked the mixture in down about two inches deep. I watered each plant and noticed I had less runoff this time using the same volume. I water on 8/25 and will check runoff pH and ppm then.
8/24 update-The girls look happy, the photos were taken with the grow lights on so there is a bit of color distortion. One is noticeably darker than the other although both are beginning to really show nodes. I haven't trimmed the lower leaves yet, not sure when to do that.
