Week 4 of flowering is in the books. The browning edges that I thought were light/heat burn I now think are the result of too much nitrogen. I cut back on the Grow Bog nitrogen rich Fox Farm plant food and flushed, that has helped as the newer growth is not developing the same brown edges.
I had a small bud break off during the flush i mentioned above. It was on on of the lower branches and was not getting much light so I figured it would be weak. I let if dry out a couple of days until yesterday when curiosity got the best of me. I looked at it under the mag glass and saw it was loaded with trichs/terps. I could not see what they looked like (clear, amber, milky, etc...as the mag glass just isn't that strong. I decided to sample. It was a little harsh on the initial hit probably had too much chlorophyll in the bud still, but she had an overt sweet flavor and was a nice smoke. It was also POWERFUL. I was shocked to say the least at how nice the euphoric effects were and I am excited to see how it progresses over the next few weeks. The IGLM website info on this seed says flowering time is 9 weeks, I don't think it will take that long.
