Impressions about plant
Starting a second grow one week behind the LSD triplets. This grow has one ILGM Girl Scout Cookies Extreme Auto, and one Blueberry Glue (not ILGM). Today, 2/6, the GSCE sprouted. The BG seed went into the nursery bag after 36 hours in water, and 36 hours in the paper towel. It hasn't shown a root yet, but it's getting a chance - I have nine more just like her if she decides to be a dud. Seed looked large, plump, and healthy so maybe it's just a slow poke.
I am planting in 3 gallon pots in coco. (First coco grow.) I will be rehydrating the coco with Rechange, Silica, Fulvic Solutions, Magical, Root Booster, and some Sugar Daddy.
Dry amendments: 3 Tbs of Grow Dots. I know they will play well with the Recharge. Mykos and Azos.
Wow, sounds like a lot. Fingers crossed this goes well. I'll be hydrating the coco later today and mixing up the pots. I'll make proper notes about the amendments at that time.
2/8/22 Day 3 - Well, I rehydrated the coco with all the stuff listed above. Had the devil of a time trying to get pH right, but I finally got it there. This morning, I realized that I didn't put the Grow Dots in, but that can be easily fixed today.
I picked the name for the GSCE - Shirley Hemple - and she's growing nicely. I always like when the leaf size doubles overnight. She's going to get moved probably today to the small tent - I did get the filter set up, what a pain, I finally ended up putting the whole shebang outside of the tent on the floor. After I got the carbon filter attached to the ceiling of the tent, I saw that after I put up the light, I'd have space to grow a one foot tall plant. Soooo... Hopefully this will work.
2/9/22 - Well, baby Shirley is doing just fine, green and healthy. I got annoyed and used my splinter tweezers to probe for the BG seed and it has indeed sprouted. I said if it wasn't up today, she was getting named Slowpoke. Well... as soon as she pops, I'll show a picture of baby Slowpoke.
2/10/22 Day 5 - for Shirley, at least - who is growing nicely, her 2nd leaves have appeared. Since I'll be starting to push the light up on the triplets, I'll be moving these two to the "Lucy" tent, probably after Slowpoke loses her helmet. SP is the only one under a dome at this point. I'm happy that she finally made it, hopefully she makes up for lost time!
2/11/22 - Day 6 - Slowpoke had a helmetectomy yesterday, and is staying domed until I see some good leaves on her. Shirley is growing well, she's almost as big as Audrey who's a week older! Always a good sign. They are happily in their new home, with DLI set at 10 and their own humidifier blasting. I need to get a second one that has a hygrometer - this one just continually outputs. I moistened the coco in their pots (they are still in nursery bags) with the leftover from the triplets' drink. Whenever they are ready to be potted, I'm ready for them. I'm going to peek at Shirley's nursery bag later to see if she's pushed any roots yet. I doubt it, but it can't hurt to watch closely!
