Impressions about plant

This particular plant is definitely proof of the resiliency of the Ruderalis species. Believe it or not this baby was left on top of the soil, roots showing, and cast aside like the afternoon rubbish. Under suggestions from my brother there could be a dormancy factor that should be considered. So I've been patient, nursed the baby and looky looky, this plant is tough. The pictures speak volumes and I think to myself and ask if it was dormant for a month, why not?? I like the optimism and figure now I can learn from this forum. And like always ya'll have delivered. Thanks to everyone here for the suggestions and advice. Surely it was profitable for my educational purposes that I've benefited from.
