It took a little while for me to learn how to set up the light cycle with the lamp and control unit. Once the vegetative growth started, we switched to an 18-hour cycle.

I also started with the lamp waaaay too far away for the first couple of weeks of vegetative growth and the seedlings started to slump over. I used some soil to support them and moved the lamp closer (about 12” away).

There’s also a moisture & pH meter in the soil. I won’t need this so early next time because I’ll use a much smaller amount of soil at this point in the grow.
