Every bucket that had a hole in it drowned.

So, long dream short, here’s trial number 3. Self contained, subsurface irrigated, grow buckets with introduced electromagnetic supported anti-anaerobic measures.

I coiled a wire around a ‘leaky’ air tube and buried it in my dirt.

No more black lava rocks. For run #3 gonna try red lava rocks. I like the black basalt. Fingers crossed for this red stuff. I used a “T” splitter with recycled tire rubber soaker hose in 1/4” to create a loop, the inside perimeter of the 5 gallon bucket bottom. The galvanized wire wrapped around the circumference of the base and then ran up and out of the bucket.

After filling in the bucket with soil/potting mix, I ran four drip sites using a “T” splitter. Both air and water lines have check valves installed.
