I waited until I saw 5 nodes not counting the seed leaves and topped it above the third node. This grow it's nice to have a better understanding of how the plant grows. I am not trying to bend fan leaves. I cut the plant above the 3rd node and then let it be for several days. When the stems started growing, I started training.
