As the ladies are now developing their second set of true leaves and most are developing their first internodes I think its time to promote from seedling to Veg. This means that the ladies have been moved from the HLG 100 light which was providing something like 220 μMols, to the TS3000 sitting at roughly 24" and dimmed to 43% which should be around 404 μMols. As the weeks progress I will gradually increase the light intensity to around a maximum of 925 μMols for flowering as I will not be using CO2. I prepared my res two days ago to allow the PH to stabilize, unfortunately my tap water is roughly 0.9 EC. To bring this down I used one gallon tap and two gallons reverse osmosis, which resulted in about .35 EC to preserve some Cal and Mag. Supposedly CANNA Aqua is formulated in a way that you can set the PH and forget it, "CANNA Aqua Vega also contains pH-stabilizers, meaning that constantly correcting the pH is no longer necessary." -CANNA. While that's entirely possible I will still be monitoring the PH and EC on a daily basis, it currently sits at 5.8 PH and a somewhat high of 1.5 EC due to additives and PH Down.

The tools I am using are BlueLab PH and EC pens, and an IR gun to monitor surface temperature.
