Impressions about plant
I recently learned a HST technique that involves quite aggressively bending and twisting the plant stem material. This is done with the expectation to break down plant cells, making them more pliable but then eventually toughing up again in the desired position. The goal of my HST is to train it in the desired direction without the use of training tools or materials and it seems to work out quite nicely! I just lately placed the “ziptie stake” in order to aid the main stem training without risking a bend
It seems like the plant tends to select a specific “dominant” stem to focus on growing (but I’m sure this is just a simple case of more light exposure or something)
Foliar feeding nutes just before light and foliar watering throughout the day really seems to get things rolling when growth looks like it’s starting to stall.
