Impressions about plant
12.10 They probably could’ve gone longer, but I think not watering enough is stunting growth. They should have monkey balls by now, but Bud sites are taking their time to open. I may turn the light down a hair just to force em to stretch a lil. I just hate to mess with em before preflower is in a full and confident swing.
12.11 Monkey balls are showing up and I haven’t seen any clusters of sacs at all. I’m confident with the gender in my tent. Minnie (middle left) was getting top heavy, so I had to jute anchor her stem. It took her all of a week to catch right up with the rest.
I’ve done some tucking and very minor defoliation. I think this week will be training. Idk if it helps, but I like to loop jute over a long cola branch and force it elongated for airflow and to encourage new growth. It moves the Bud away from the fans for airflow and light. As time goes on, I can tighten or remove jute. When plant gets taller, coaxing cola branches is super easy. U don’t wanna bend too much, just coax. Oooo, I love monkey balls. It’s my favorite part of a grow!
12.13 Water day
12.15 Plants are stretching. I have not seen any male pollen sacs since the random pistoled sac I took a photo of last week, so I believe all of my plants are female. There is some tip burn on the back row of plants. This is the result of Dr Earth soil feed, which I’m ok with cause benefits outweigh vanity. I will water the Gals tomorrow. They do feel light to lift, but I like them watered every three days on schedule (Dec 13th, 16th, 19th and so on). Everybody loves a dependable routine.
