Impressions about plant
It has been 140 days since the Gold Leafs sprouted. They veg’d for 32 days. I consider this Day 94 of Flower…meaning since the flip to 12/12. 900+ PPFD, the humidity has been in the low to mid-40s and the temps have been in the high 70s during the day and 60 +/- a couple of degrees at night. I am just feeding with a little Frosty Nugs as a flushing agent and a little energy at 6.6 ph.
I was seeing 10%+ amber on the trichomes, so I harvested the top 12” or so of the GL2 plant on Day 90 and the GL1 plant on Day 92. The buds were huge, beautiful and the sweet smell filled the house. I left the bottom half of each plant so that the buds that were not getting light can develop more. The GL2 plant was much more thick so it has quite a few buds still on the plant, there are only a few left on the GL1 plant. I can already see them pumping more trichomes over the last couple of days.
I wet trimmed the colas by hand and the side buds with a bowl trimmer. They looked as good trimmed up as they did on the plant. I ended up with about 1,800 grams of good wet trimmed bud. I set up a temporary dry room in a bathroom shower and am drying these buds with some Chocolope I also harvested. I still reporting “flower” on my status until I can harvest the rest of the plant and give a dry good bud weight.
